Pestin Crop Science was established in 2002. The company provides hybrid seeds. Since its inception it has been engaged in plant genetic research and production of hybrid seeds. Currently, it is engaged in the research, production, processing and marketing of approximately 70 products in 20 crop species including cereals, oilseeds, fibre and vegetables.

Aruti Seeds is also developing genetically enhanced crops with the use of gene transfer technology. Aruti Seeds is one of the leading producers of hybrids of Arhar, Sorghum, Pearl Millet, Sunflower and Wheat.

The Pestin Crop Science team has been working very closely with farmers in majority of the crop growing states throughout the crop cycle, right from the distribution of the seed to the beneficiaries, pre-season agronomy training to post harvest technology. It also facilitates, grain procurement and market linkage to local industries.
